Richard Branscomb has returned to Corpus Christi from Ft. Lauderdale to open Branscomb Realty, LLC bringing more than 20 years of national commercial real estate experience to South Texas. Mr. Branscomb is experienced in industrial, office and retail brokerage, leasing, development and asset/REO management.

He began his career in San Antonio after graduating from the Cox School of Business at SMU in Dallas. After 5 years in San Antonio and gaining office leasing experience with Cushman & Wakefield, he was recruited to Miami as the Director of Leasing for a new 26 acre office/industrial/flex project. Since the sale of the Project, Richard’s career has encompassed almost every aspect of the commercial real estate industry by representing a wide array of industrial, office, and retail tenants and landlords throughout Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and Palm Beach. He has completed build-to-suits from site acquisition to C.O. for Walgreen’s, was the Director of Site Acquisitions for CVS Pharmacy in Dade County with Cedarwood Development, and was Director of Site Acquisitions for the Courtelis Company throughout Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties.

Richard represented Dolphin Cruise Lines in resolving its operational issues by selecting a dock height warehouse near the Port of Miami. As an Asset/ REO Manager, he assisted the Lennar/Morgan Stanley Partnership during their acquisition of the AmeriFirst’s Loan Portfolio. He has exclusively represented a wide variety of retail tenants in South Florida in their store roll outs and expansion efforts, including the initial Quizino’s rollout in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. Prior to relocating his family home, he was with CB Richard Ellis, the nation’s leading commercial real estate brokerage company.

Industrial deals completed by Richard include Hoffman-La Roche, NEC, and Sebastian Hair Care Products, office leases with tenants such as Hewlett Packard, KSAH Radio, and Dunn & Bradstreet and retailers such as Walgreen’s, Pier One, CompUSA, Blockbuster, and Chevron. His family has been in the business for years owning commercial property in South Texas including, and up until recently, the life-style center called Lamar Park with such quality tenants as Chico’s, Talbots, and Ann Taylor Loft.
